As a Production Officer, you're at the heart of elevating the impact of the British Red Cross through the through the effective coordination of our copy, design, film and photo work. Can you be the driving force behind ensuring that briefs are not just met but exceeded, navigating negotiations with stakeholders, and fostering collaborative team relationships?
Beyond the day-to-day, you'll dive into the details of our workflows, helping us predict and plan for our capacity needs. It's about more than just dispensing content – it's about making a real impact in fundraising, brand representation and advocacy efforts.
A day in the life of a Production Officer will involve:
- Collaborating with the creative team to deliver content aligned with strategic goals.
- Coordinating with content teams, setting schedules, and offering support throughout projects. Supporting with scheduling meetings, setting agendas and taking minutes
- Negotiating and effectively communicating with internal stakeholders on budgets and timelines. Engaging with external suppliers as needed, managing relationships for production requirements.
- Maintaining an organised production workflow, logging activities in resource management software.
To be a successful Production Officer, you’ll need:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clarity.
- Effective prioritisation and aptitude to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- 3 years of experience in production roles, ensuring timely project delivery.
- Analytical and solution-focused, investigating information, anticipating obstacles, and identifying trends for effective decision-making
