Production Operative
£11.92 per hour - £15.37 per hour depending on shift – 2 and 3 shifts are available.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor
Operations - Premdor/ Barnsley
The purpose of the role is to safely produce high quality doors to the agreed specification. Continuous Improvement is an important part of our site’s culture, so you will also have the opportunity to propose or contribute to initiatives and projects that improve our operations.

Main Responsibilities
*
Strictly adhere to safe systems of work and report any defects.
*
Maintain good housekeeping standards in the area
*
Perform quality checks in accordance with ISO instructions
*
Optimise production of doors through working as part of a line team, delivering good quality doors to output targets
*
Be aware of and follow the appropriate operating procedures for the activities in which you are engaged.
*
Provide information for your supervisor regarding progress of products under your control.
*
Ensure that your area of operation is kept clean, tidy, and safe and continuously strive for improving standards of performance
*
Be an active contributor to the department and operations objectives
*
Qualifications & Experience

Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
