We are looking to hire a new Production Operator in our Extrusion Production Team. The purpose of this role is to operate the extrusion lines safely and efficiently, packing 6 meter profiles to fulfil demand at the highest quality standards.
Deceuninck are a Window Systems Company based in Calne, Wiltshire; where we extrude and laminate 6-meter lengths of uPVC profiles for windows and door frames.
In addition to our standard new starter induction with Health & Safety and HR, you will receive a department induction, full introduction and training on your tasks and responsibilities. We offer career development and training to achieve further levels of responsibilities in the department.
Key duties include:
- Pack extruded 6-meter uPVC profiles into stillages.
- Follow the production work schedule as set out including colour changes, order changes etc. in order to meet production deadlines.
- Control Scrap level to approved minimum, following correct procedures and informing relevant personnel of any issues.
- Maintain production department to a high standard adhering to procedures and policies keeping all areas clean, tidy and safe
- Proactively seek to develop within the team, learning new skills, progressing in responsibility on shift and operator level.

- Keen to develop their skills and knowledge to progress to higher operator levels

Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay:
- £11.44 (flat hourly rate) + £1.37 (day shift allowance) = £12.81 per hour
- £11.44 (flat hourly rate) + £2.74 (night shift allowance) = £14.18 per hour

Working Hours:
42 hours per week, operating a 3 on 3 off rotating shift pattern of 12 hour shifts. The standard working hours include both 06:30 – 18:30 (Days) and 18.30 – 06.30 (Nights). Although the hours may vary during initial training.
