BASIC SALARY: £27,000 - £30,000 (DOE)

JOB DESCRIPTION:Production Planner, Supply Chain Planner, Materials Planner - Bill of Materials, ERP - Manufacturing

As our Production Planner, you will be working closely with the Production Team to schedule work according to our customer requirements. You will also have an important relationship with the Procurement Team, understanding any constraints that could potentially affect deadlines.

You will assist with the Continuous Improvement within the planning department including new process, routing implementation and the new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system

You will also be responsible for the Bill of Materials (BOM) within a busy manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Production Planner, Supply Chain Planner, Materials Planner - Bill of Materials, ERP - Manufacturing

As our Production Planner you will manage the planning and scheduling of works orders (WO’s) to ensure sales orders (SO’s) are planned according to customer lead time and shipped on time in full.

In addition to this you will also;
· Efficiently manage the Bill of Materials, listing the raw materials, sub-assemblies, intermediate assemblies, sub-components, parts, and the quantities of each needed to manufacture our end product
· Manage allocation of Sales orders to ensure key dates achieved in full and MRP can run effectively.
· Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure any issues identified potentially affecting SO/WO’s are dealt with in a timely manner.
· Be the main point of contact for all sales order status updates and queries including escalation of issues, and reporting on any delays, increased risks or missed milestones for sales orders on a weekly basis
· Liaise with relevant departments to support resolution of QA lines and SMI’s raised, review the impact on WO/SO and advise accordingly
