An opportunity has arisen in our Production Planning team at Taylors and we are looking for a Production Planner to join us at our main site in Harrogate on a 13 month fixed term contract covering an internal secondment. In this role you will be working collaboratively and cross functionally as a team to create production requirements which satisfy customer demand whilst holding optimum stock levels. We strive to improve efficiencies and maximise capacity and to oversee stock holding.
This is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am - 7pm. If you would like to discuss flexible working please provide more details in your application. We are looking for someone who is able to start with us relatively quickly.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Production Scheduling
- Attending Demand Meetings
- Maintaining a 24-month production plan
- Maintaining stock levels
- Scenario Modelling
- Project work support as and when required
About you
You willl have a passion for food manufacturing and a genuine enthusiasm to learn and work efficiently is a must. We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
- Previous experience in a smiliar role
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Logical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Adaptable to change and ability to balance conflicting priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively and building strong working relationships
