We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the production line and personnel. You will ensure that the proper standard of line hygiene, product protection and company ‘clean as you go’ policy, is delivered and demonstrate positive food safety culture by example.

Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that commercial performance meets or exceeds product standard(s), both in terms of yield and quality, where prescribed
- To understand the daily and weekly KPIs and action as necessary
- Assist their manager in assessing the ability of, and coordination of, team members
- Maintain appropriate discipline within the company requirements in their department
- To be ultimately responsible for product quality and food safety
- To be familiar with all current specifications, and to regularly test understanding
- To ensure that standards of workmanship meet company/customer expectations
- HACCP team member
- To ensure that all current accreditation, quality and food safety standards are properly understood, and that the site is being managed in accordance with these requirements
- To represent the company in a professional manner with both internal and external customers
- Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to
- To ensure that staff are sufficiently trained
- To meet all EC and UK legal appertaining to the activities on the site
- To be responsible for ensuring that the company health & safety policy is applied rigorously in the workplace and to advise where improvements may be made
- To be responsible for the all clean as you go hygiene in the factory
- To ensure that appropriate start up checks are conducted by dedicated staff
- To ensure that the security of the premises and stock are maximised at all times
- To manage the relationships between the manufacturing unit and associated functions sympathetically and constructively
- Any other tasks deemed reasonable and reasonably requested by the company
Experience and Skills Required:
- Knowledge of products and manufacturing process
