Manpower is currently looking for Production Shift Leader (Lates) for our busy electronics manufacturing client based in York - YO10 area.
Working hours - Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm
Salary - 26K plus 20% shift allowance (£31200)

We are looking for candidates with previous electronics manufacturing management experience.
Main purpose of job: Supervision of shift personnel to support the Production Manager achieve customer delivery and quality objectives.
Main duties if the role:
- Supervise and manage shift personnel, Lead a team of 5-10 personnel
- Allocate work priorities in line with the production schedule
- Work to maximise efficiencies of equipment and personnel
- Guide and support new personnel within the production areas
- Promote and ensure good working practices
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Develop 'Built-in Quality' approach with lean principles
- Data collection and analysis as required
- Key holder
- Complete any other reasonable tasks beneficial to the business
- This is an 'on tools' position

Qualifications (Required or prepared to work towards)
- Manufacturing experience in an engineering environment
- First Aid
