Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of our production team? Working for a well-respected manufacturing firm you will report to the Production Manager. You will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day tasks within the filling lines and manufacturing areas as well as ensuring the production schedule is delivered. In addition, you will provide coaching and guidance to the Team Leaders and their teams.
Key tasks- Ensure that all aspects of Production, Manufacturing, Health, and Safety and delivery are completed during each shift.
- First Line People Management is also the responsibility of the Supervisor, providing coaching and guidance to the Team Leaders and their teams.
- To ensure that the Production schedule is delivered to plan, within maximum efficiency and minimum waste / re-work.
- Resource planning on a daily and weekly basis
- Non-conformance meeting attendance and close out of relevant actions.
- Ensuring adherence of self and production team, to all quality management processes and procedures.
- Site management and housekeeping (waste collections, non-stock items)
- Warehouse management and organisation.
- SAP and production plan admin, printing of work orders and labels when required.
- Data collection for the daily morning meeting
- BRC audit support for relevant production areas.
We are looking for someone with:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- 5+ years of production experience
- Team leading experience
- Health & safety awareness
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Experience of working with quality systems
- Good communications skills, both orally and written
- Able to evidence training and coaching team members
- Ideally to have been responsible for recruiting team members
