Production Supervisor

My client is a leading manufacturing company serving the FMCG sector, as a result of recent promotion they are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. Reporting to the Production Manager you will have an opportunity to lead and develop a team of highly skilled operatives.

Responsibilities will include the efficient running of production lines, the meeting of targets in terms of minimal downtime and working with the quality team to ensure end product meets client expectations. Other duties will involve the training of line supervisors and ensuring that a climate of continuous improvement permeates the production process. You should be used to dealing with a fast moving environment and experience of batch manufacturing processes is advantageous. Candidates should have at least 5 years supervisory experience, knowledge of six sigma and lean manufacturing is a pre-requisite. You should be results and performance focussed and ready to lead from the front.
