What you'll be responsible for:
1.Team Management:
- Work closely with the Demand Planning team to ensure products are delivered on time to stock or directly to customers.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to manufacturing procedures.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to team members.
2.Active Participation in Production:
- Lead by example and actively engage in the manufacturing process.
- Perform hands-on tasks, such as assembly, testing, and quality checks, alongside the team.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production flow and efficient resource utilization.
3.Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and meet quality requirements.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure equipment is calibrated, functional, and used correctly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records throughout the production process.
4.Production Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and take proactive measures to meet delivery schedules.
- Report on production throughput, efficiency, and any issues affecting the production timeline.
- Collaborate with other internal departments to address any cross-functional concerns.
5.Safety and Equipment Maintenance:
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety within the team.
- Regularly inspect and maintain safety equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
6.Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis to address production problems and implement corrective actions.
- Encourage and support team members in generating improvement ideas and implementing changes.
What skills we would love you to bring to the table
- Working experience on Electro-mechanical production
- Thorough understanding of applicable Quality Control processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in operating various production equipment and tools, such as crimp tools, wire cutters, soldering equipment, etc.
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members through hands-on involvement and leadership.
- In-depth understanding of established Team Manufacturing values and customer service policies.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills for data analysis and measurements
