Production Team Leader
An exciting opportunity has arisen, to join our client's team near Sandwich, as a Production Team Leader. The role will involve providing shift leadership to a team of five, involving tasks such as communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines. Additionally, providing assistance to management, including hiring and training, and keeping management updated on team performance, sickness, and attendance.
Hours:
4 on 4 off
Day shift - 6am - 6pm
Night shift - 6pm - 6am
Other duties will include:
- Provide encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
- Assist management with hiring processes and new team member training.
- Be the first point of contact for team member questions and trouble shooting.
- Oversee team member's work for quality and guideline compliance.
- Have an understanding of a factory environment and polymer compounding.
- Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
- Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission related objectives, and deadlines.
- Ensure company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards.
- Cover other Team Leaders annual leave when required.
