Job Title: Production Technician
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Technician will play a pivotal role in executing various production tasks. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for the manufacturing and testing of Hydrophones, Transducers, and UWC probes, adhering to established work processes. Additionally, the Production Technician will collaborate with the production and development teams as needed to support ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently produce Hydrophones and Transducers to meet daily quantity requirements, following specified work processes.
- Manufacture UWC probes to meet daily quantity targets in accordance with established work processes.
- Provide assistance on projects as required, contributing to the overall success of the production and development teams.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on both personal work and the work of others to ensure products meet the required standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work space, taking responsibility for the upkeep of the designated area.
- Accurately record processes and complete works orders in compliance with company procedures.
- Promptly report any production difficulties or issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Work towards meeting deadlines and targets to support overall production goals.
- Adhere to ISO standards and procedures, including the completion of necessary internal audits.
- Comply with health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
