SalaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Machine Operative to work for our client based on the outskirts of York. This will be working on a Rota of 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of nights. You will be operative machinery as well as a FLT (training provided).
About the role
- In this role you will be responsible for the safe and clean production of products including carrying out specific operations within the production process such as: intake, plant cleaning and basic maintenance.
- This role involves shift work, and post-holders are expected to follow the rota system.
- We are looking for someone with high standards, who can remain accurate while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferably applicants would have previous experience within a Production/manufacturing environment.
The basic starting salary is GBP25,000k until you pass your probationary period, then you qualify for a production bonus which brings your salary to around GBP34k you can also put in for overtime which is paid at 1.5 - If you put in the overtime you can achieve GBP40k plus
