Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Programme Administrator for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £130/day PAYE. The working hours are 35 hours per week - 9am-5pm. This role will be based onsite in Edinburgh.Responsibilities:- Tracking and processing course assessments for marking- Emailing students and course organisers regarding programme information and assessments - Managing spreadsheets and student data- Using and input data to student systems - Any other administrative tasks as required by the teaching office team lead. Essential Skills:- Experience and confidence working with Microsoft Office software's including Word, Excel and Outlook. - Full range of administrative and computing skills with experience of commonly used applications, particularly word processing, spreadsheets and databases. - Competent written and oral communication skills. - Competent numeracy and literacy skills. - Good interpersonal skills and customer service skills. - Good organisational, time management and prioritisation skills. - Ability to maintain focus and provide efficient service under pressure and in busy environment. Desirable Skills:- Proficiency in extracting and manipulating data in spreadsheets and databases.- Experience of working in a team and on your own with fairly minimal supervision.- Experience of maintaining filing systems and working to the requirements of data protection and confidentiality.- Experience of working with virtual learning environments.
