Job description

Could you be Incommunities new Programme Coordinator? This is an exciting opportunity to join our Development and Growth team as we lead on our growth programme to build 350 new homes per year. As Programme Coordinator, you will work closely with our Delivery Project Managers, ensuring timelines are met, the team has the necessary resources available and compliance is adhered to.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the progress of the project teams and help them to accomplish their tasks
  • Communicate project objectives and status' to the project team members
  • Allocate resources and scheduling project-related activities
  • Coordinate project management activities
  • Ensure that projects stay within allocated budgets
  • Keep track of inventory, placing orders and coordinating with suppliers
  • Create reports about projects and report to the senior development team
  • Ensure compliance and health and safety is recorded correctly throughout the project lifespan
  • Conduct quality assurance tests through undertaking audit checks
  • Assist the project manager with planning, scheduling and budgeting
  • Act as the lead on social value and report to the senior development team, liaising with other areas of the business
  • Management of the administrative functions of Sequel, ensuring accurate and up to date information is maintained within it, identifying gaps and working with the team to rectify them
  • Maintain a record of Contractors and Consultants insurances and financial due diligence checks
  • Maintain spreadsheets and trackers of our performance, including KPIs and provide information to regulatory and other public sector returns
  • Assist the Head of Development with the administration of our Homes England Strategic Partnership, attend meetings and collate information required for monitoring milestones and providing monthly financial information
  • Assist with internal and external audits on development, including working with the Head of Development to undertake audits of internal processes and Homes England Compliance
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Development Procedure Manuals

About you

  • You have more than 2 years' experience of working for a registered provider in Housing
  • You have experience of the development aspect of a Housing provider
  • You have a good eye for detail and are very methodical in your approach
  • You have a detailed knowledge of Housing development procedures
  • Genuine desire to work in the housing / residential development sector
  • Ability to work strategically

Requirements

  • The ability to promote the work of the company through presentations in both spoken and written form
  • The ability to maintain good working relationships with a variety and a number of stakeholders including Internal teams, Homes England and Local Authority partners
  • Tactful and diplomatic customer focused attitude with the ability to go the extra mile; ability to work without supervision
  • Initiative and a 'can do' attitude; the ability to see a task through to conclusion and make appropriate recommendations for service improvements
  • Comfortable with Microsoft package including Excel
  • Confident and people-oriented personality
  • Ability to communicate, develop and maintain strong working relationships at all levels
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car
