UltraPure Micro (UPM) is a sister organisation of Global Water Intelligence. UPM organises an annual conference (Ultra Facility) and created the UPM online platform to help assist in the UPM mission to support the advancement of semiconductor manufacturing.
We are based in Central Oxford, with close access to various public transport (walking distance from the train / bus stations).
The Role
It is an exciting time to join the Ultra Facility Conference team. The event has experienced substantial growth over the last few years, with a growing interest from new businesses across the semiconductor manufacturing supply chain. This is a great opportunity to lead this conference through its next era of expansion, and to:
- Drive the Ultra Facility event forward, taking charge of the timeline and team to ensure deadlines and targets are hit.
- Deliver the event, taking charge of operations and logistics, to ensure we provide our audience with the event that they signed up for.
- Develop the event year-on-year, evaluating feedback, making changes and always looking for the next opportunity to grow the event.
- Build effective and long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and gain a thorough understanding of the market.
About you
Applicants for the Programme Manager role will have:
- Prior experience in conference / event management, within a B2B environment
- Big picture planning with the small details in mind
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills (ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders)
- Highly organised with experience of cost / budget management
- Strong decision-making skills combined with a flexible approach
- A desire to learn new products and skills in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Flexibility to travel internationally as and when required
