Join our Stores Reporting team as a Project Accountant, where you’ll be at the forefront of assisting our ROI stores with the implementation of a new retail system by accurately reconciling their debtors with the Heath Board, ensuring a seamless shift to the new system.
Your role will extend beyond the traditional accounting duties, as you actively contribute to the development of new processes and provide essential training for our finance team and stores, ensuring the accuracy of data throughout the entire project, driving the implementation of an innovative process as part of the transition to the new system.
But that’s not all – the innovation begins, you’ll be tasked with creating comprehensive how-to guides, developing a user-friendly SharePoint site, and delivering engaging presentations that bring the new process to life for both our finance team and stores. Along the way, you’ll identify any risks, resolve issues and track deliverables, whilst keeping various stakeholders in the loop.
Post-system implementation, you’ll be the go-to person for any technical accounting queries from internal teams and external auditors. Your keen eye for detail, coupled with your inquisitive approach will drive continuous improvement ensuring our systems remain at the forefront of excellence.
We’re on the look-out for someone who’s ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, ideally with experience in managing system implementation projects, strong Excel experience including vlookups, sumifs and pivots is a must. Has expectational knowledge of accounting standards, particularly in maintaining accounting records and adept reporting under FRS102, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
