Reed Finance Cambridge are looking for an experienced Project Accountant to join a business in Huntingdon, on a fixed-term contract of 9-12 months.
You will take on the responsibilities stated below:
- Systems testing.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Consolidation accounting.
- Preparation of monthly financial reports.
- P&L development for sites, transport and workshops.
- Cost centre reporting development.
- Improving reporting, data processes and integration.
- Ad hoc finance, business and data requests.
- Management of finance staff.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or qualified by experience accountant.
- Experience of working in a fast paced, driven, dynamic, business.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem Solver.
- ‘Can do’ attitude – not afraid to take on a challenge to improve processes or deliver a quality deliverable in the timescales required (within deadlines) and takes care and pride in the role and tasks performed.
- Analytically minded.
- Experience of using Excel, ERPs and finance systems.
- Ability to work with several systems to ensure that data is extracted, prepared, and analysed to drive critical business decisions/ outcomes.
- Ability to handle, cleanse and integrate large datasets for the desired output.
- Hands on and practical.
