Project Accountant (Hybrid)

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Project Accountant to work on a temporary contract basis for a great business based in the Fleet area. The Project Accountant temp job will be working on a hybrid basis supporting the FD with financial analysis, checking of transactional data and assisting with an ongoing project.

Day rate: (Apply online only) per day

Location: Hybrid - Office based - Fleet, 2 days a week

Hours: 9-5.30 Mon-Fri

Project Accountant duties:

• US sales tax - nexus review
• Assisting with the accounting project of getting the new system Avalara up and running
• Support with Bank Mandate tidy up
• Assist with the processing of any US taxes / US trade accounts - documentation required
• Analysis of US transactions, cross referencing the financial data, researching any coding required or state / trade tax set up
• Statutory account preparation
• Any other accounting support requested by the FD

Skills and experience required:

• Experience of working in a similar Accountant, Project Accountant, Systems Accountant type role
• Knowledge and experience of US taxes
• Systems experience; Quickbooks
• Ideally be a full qualified accountant
