SalaryProject Accountant - FTC
We are recruiting for a full time Project Accountant to join a well-established company based in Loughton for a 14 Month maternity contract. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am-5:30pm and 9am-5pm every Friday. This is a fully office-based role with free parking.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Producing monthly income and expenditure summaries for projects, reviewing transactions, and investigating variances
* Raising invoices for construction projects in line with valuations and project management fees
* Creating accurate monthly management accounts for projects and including financial insights
* Preparing documentation to enable breakdown of loan payments on a portfolio of bank facilities to fund ongoing developments for the business
* Liaising with Solicitors and Agents to ensure funds are in place to complete on new purchases
* Paying profits to partners where applicable on project completions
* Reporting to partners across all projects regularly, ensuring all information provided is accurate
* Calculating funds from partners in line with agreements; providing further information as clarification where required
The successful candidate will be an experienced Accountant with excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, combining financial expertise with effective communication skills.
