Job title:Project Controller / Project Planner
Location: - Reading (hybrid working arrangement - 3 days per week on site)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Controller to join our Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) UK team in Reading, Berkshire.

Key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the deployment and performance of Project Controls within a Portfolio or Project. This includes:
  • Integrated Master Schedule Creation (IMS) using Primavera P6, and Baseline Management
  • Supporting internal and external reviews with respect to the IMS including the critical path, progress and overall health of the project
  • Implementing and operating change control across programmatic baselines - ensuring clarity over the Performance Management Baseline (PMB) and forecasts vs the PMB at all times
  • Performance Management - identification of trends, analysis of variances and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
  • Proactive risk and opportunity management, including identification and support to the resolution of cross-portfolio risks/issue themes
  • Analysis and reporting - ETC Reviews, Schedule Reviews, Risk Reviews, Reporting Activities
  • Working with Project leadership to identify and implement appropriate metrics
  • Ensuring resource forward load is accurate and timely, including the analysis of resource profiles (labour and material) and making recommendations to reconcile anomalies and optimise deployment

About you:
  • Proven experience working as a Project Controller / Scheduler / Planner, ideally within the defence or civils industry.
  • Confident user of Primavera P6 scheduling tool. Experience using Cobra would be an advantage (but not essential).
  • Using best practice to support the structuring of complex engineering projects including the WBS and IMS, ensuring the baseline is captured and realistic and conducting Critical Path Analysis
  • A strong track record of successfully designing, deploying, operating and/or improving the full range of Project Controls
