Our client, a leading construction specialist providing, is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join their team as a Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will be based in the client office in Ruislip (3 days) and the remining two days will be based on the client’s site which is based in West Ruislip.
This is a busy and dynamic environment, and you must have the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Labour manager your role will involve a great deal of Excel work.
- There will be a great many project reports to maintain and update weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- A confident telephone manner is essential as you will be managing a great many contractor queries regarding pay, holiday allowance, expenses, and absence.
- Checking of submitted timesheets from the system ensuring inputted work hours match those submitted from the client.
- Extensive liaison with contractors and client- managing queries and resolving issues.
- Assist with the seamless onboarding process for new hires, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Manage compliance documentation with precision and accuracy, including right to work checks and health and safety records.
- Creation of job advertisements and the subsequent screening of these applications
- Maintain direct communication with contractors, offering support and assistance where needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Project coordination, recruitment, administration, or a related field is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a busy and dynamic environment.
- Have the ability to work independently and find the answers to issues
- Superb communication skills for effective interaction with contractors and team members.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations in the construction industry is preferred.
