Project Coordinator- Fit Out
Reporting to: Buildings Manager

Foster and Partners are an award-winning British architectural design and engineering firm who put forward an innovative, modern and sustainable approach. We are based in Battersea SW London.
Due to continuous growth, we are looking for Project Coordinator to work in our Facilities team. Project coordinator is responsible for the coordination of day-to day management, planning and delivery of small construction projects on the Foster and Partners campus. Working within a strict process you will assist the design teams and technical teams to assemble a construction pack for tendering. There will be an opportunity to project manage small works below 50k and work alongside PM on larger projects.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- To support the design teams with coordination of services, such as but not limited to:
o Health and safety files discovery
o Survey requirements
o Samples from manufactures
o Designs from contractors.
- To liaise with local authorities as appropriate.
- To gain approvals from our landlords for proposed works
- Engage with building control to validate our designs.
- To manage minor work programmes with the support of the Building Manager and specialist consultants on-site.
- To assist in the appointment of contractors.
- Ensure contracts and pqs services are appointed for major works
- To track the process of all internal capital improvement programmes
- To present weekly updates as to progress of each project
- To oversee and regularly review the work carried out by the contractors to ensure the required standards are achieved and maintained in accordance with the contractual agreement.
- Comply with health and safety policies/legislation
Qualities & Skills required
- Previous experience in facilities management
- Experience of managing a team
- Developed technical knowledge of estate and property related facilities, including mechanical and electrical services and building structures.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
- Holding a Health & Safety qualification is desirable but not essential
