We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join the DBFO - Highways pipeline of work from the client Connect Roads and National Highways in Derby. This Highways maintenance project will cover circa 50 schemes per year which need to be developed, procured, planned, and delivered. This role will see you developing, updating and managing the scheme information for the A50.
** This is a flexible role, which will include working from home & on site.**
What you'll be doing
- Complete all documents and files at each stage, ensuring that the key handover meeting and information transfer take place.
- Work with the planner to ensure required information has been completed at each stage of the programme and client interface.
- Build a relationship with the client to ensure information shared is accurate and issued timely.
- Reportwhat's working well, what isn't and where are there issues in the process.
- Organise weekly collaborative planning meetings to raise awareness of required information / documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain the system for managing all project information.
- Sort archives and transfer information to new systems.
- Provide assistance to the project team on three contracts with the creation of information folders.
Who we're looking for
- Working experience in a project management environment doing coordination, scheduling, and administration.
- A good communicator with the ability to work in a team and independently, a quick learner, and a drive to succeed.
- A proficient user of Microsoft Office (formulas, tables, graphs and analysis)
- Passion for solving problems, fixing things, and focusing on getting things done, as well as paying attention to details.
- Interest in progressing and develop into future roles in any of the following fields: planning, project management, information management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
