Are you an experienced Design Manager looking to make a splash in the water sector? Our client, a prestigious national tier 1 contractor, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Project Design Manager. This permanent role is based just outside of Birmingham, covering projects within the Severn Trent region.

About the Role: As a Project Design Manager, you'll be at the forefront of delivering innovative design solutions for water infrastructure projects within the Severn Trent region. Working closely with project teams, you'll oversee the design process from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design development for water infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pipelines, and pumping stations
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet project objectives
• Manage a team of design engineers and coordinate their activities to deliver high-quality designs on time and within budget
• Review and approve design documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams during the design phase
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and outcomes

About You: We're seeking candidates with a proven track record in Design Management, particularly within the water sector. Experience with water treatment projects and a strong understanding of water industry standards and regulations will be highly advantageous. You'll have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
