Project Director

Due to growth the position of a Project Director has become available to join our vibrant team based in Manchester

Costain plays a significant role in transitioning the UK economy to Net Zero by 2050. Our Energy Sector supports energy transition through existing asset efficiency and life extension, whilst we lead the decarbonisation of the UK's energy infrastructure. Covering the full project lifecycle from Feasibility through to Decommissioning, we specialise in Oil & Gas, Nuclear; Power Generation and Gas Networks Sectors.

The Energy Sector has a great opportunity for a Project Director to lead delivery of all work scopes within the Sector from FEED stage through to full EPCm delivery. The primary purpose of the role is lead major complex projects through Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases in order to meet client and Costain Energy targets. You will also have a leading role in supporting the work winning requirements of the sector.

Working arrangement: This is a hybrid role with 2 days based in our Manchester office with the option for dynamic working .

Role Requirements

• Degree qualified in engineering or project management.

• Experience working with major energy clients.

• Successful track record managing large engineering projects in highly regulated industries such as Energy or Nuclear.

• Deep understanding of the energy sector project and life cycle, and how to support clients in achieving financial sanction and full project completition.
