Project Engineer - Fluid/ Thermal Systemsrequired by a pioneering force in the clean energy industry, dedicated to the delivery of high-performance, cost-efficient, zero-emissions power systems, with a focus on sustainability.
You'll be responsible for the 'system ownership' of mainly thermal management, including fire suppression, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems in high-performance applications throughout design/ development.
Other responsibilities will incorporate:

• Working cross-functionally with engineering/ manufacturing/ quality/ supply chain departments.
• Delivery from concept through to industrialisation. Define component specifications.
• Contribute to early project phases such as feasibility studies and concepts.
• Create thermal management/ fluid system architectures and generate diagrams/ schematics.
• Apply engineering fundamentals to problems (hand calculations/0D models)
• Cascade Project/Product requirements into Systems requirements (Siemens Polarion software).

About you:

• Experienced in a relevant field, and suitably qualified (degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace Engineering)
• Solid knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid circuit design practices/ analysis techniques.
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD and PLM software (NX/ TeamCentre).
• Demonstrable initiative in prioritising workload/problem-solving under pressure.
