AddressTitle: Project Engineer
Initial 12 Month Contract, 37.5 h/week (Extension is performance dependent)
Pay Rate: Up to £58/h - Inside of IR35
Fully on site - Speke, Liverpool, UK
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a large biotechnology client of ours, they utilise multiple production techniques to produce vaccines.
This role's focus is supporting key process improvement initiatives & major capital projects to meet strategic performance targets.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating accurate cost estimates for projects in accordance with departmental procedures, to ensure that project proposals can be submitted for approval in line with the capital expenditure plan.
- Leading complex engineering projects involving cross functional teams and multiple GMP disciplines (process, utilities & clean-rooms).
- Budgeting & scheduling multi-disciplinary GMP projects, including monitoring and reporting the status of major projects.
- Validation & handover process for capital projects.
- Maintaining site engineering standards.
Experience/Skills required:
- Knowledge of environmental, health & safety legislation's.
- Strong project management/Project Engineering experience, ideally 3 - 5 years.
- Degree in an engineering discipline, preferable chemical, or mechanical engineering.
- Multi-disciplined engineering experience is essential.
