As a Project Engineer you:
- Work with the Site Supervisor and Project Manager to develop detailed Work Plans and Risk Assessment and Method Statements for the works;
- Assist with the development of Management Plans and other contractual deliverables;
- Assist in the preparation of internal and client weekly and monthly reports;
- Assist with the monthly progress claim preparation, including collation of supporting evidence;
- Spend time in the field, observing demolition, decommissioning, remediation activities and tracking progress;
- Obtain quotes and issuing purchase orders for consumables or subcontractor packages;
- Review and amending the MS Project, Sketchup, Contract program;
- Lead and mentor graduate engineers when required; and
- Ensure forecasts are up-to-date and accurate, including cash flow, accommodation, fuel and man hours.

- Interact in a professional manner with clients, employees and sub-contractors and communicate effectively at all levels;
- Always look for ways to improve work methods, processes, documentation and safety standards;
- Assist the company to establish quality professional relationships with existing and potential clients to optimise new business opportunities across Liberty Industrial; and
- Attend and assist the company to present at conferences and trade shows as required.
What you bring to the role:
- Min 3 - 5 years project based experience on:
- Power station demolition
- Oil & gas (refinery or chemical plant)
- Heavy industrial demolition project
- Demolition Engineering, Civil Engineering tertiary qualifications or similar
- Experience on decommissioning or remediation projects an advantage
- Experience in documenting detailed work plans and RAMS
- Proficient in MS Project and MS suite of applications
- Experience on Sketchup or similar application’s an advantage
- Experience in asbestos removal is an advantage
- Experience in ground remediation also an advantage
- Good commercial background, understanding and management of contracts
- Strong safety aptitude
- Collaborative team player

- Well-presented and professional attitude
- Strong organisational and administration skills
- Motivated, proactive with good time management abilities
