Job Duties
- Develop project plans and define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to execute projects effectively.
- Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and feasibility studies to support project design.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings, presentations, and reviews to report on project status and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated with latest industry trends, technologies, and best practises to enhance project performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practises, and regulations.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certification in project management.
- Experience in the engineering industry within the United Kingdom.
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera.
As a Project Engineer, you can expect to work in an office environment, with occasional visits to project sites. You may need to work extended hours and travel as required to meet project deadlines and attend meetings with clients and stakeholders.
Salary for this position is £600.00 - £700.00 per day, and the role is expected to be on a contract basis, working full-time hours.
