Project Engineer – South Sheffield
My Client is seeking to strengthen its Delivery Team with two experienced Project Engineers to work on the Severn Trent Framework. The role will be based in the Mansfield/Nottingham area. A significant undertaking with a budget of approximately £40 million. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the project delivery team, reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards among the direct and subcontracted workforce.
- Maintain positive relationships to uphold the Company’s reputation on the project.
- Implement the Business Management System (BMS) at all stages throughout the project delivery process.
- Collaborate with the design manager to conduct technical, safety, and environmental reviews for successful project delivery.
- Manage all commercial aspects of the project in a timely and proactive manner, providing accurate forecasts and estimates.
- Understand and implement Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies and Targets.
Skills/Experience
- Project Management experience in the construction sector.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction-related discipline.
- APMP or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience within the water sector.
- Relevant CSCS Card.
- Proficiency in using Primavera or Power Project.
- Working knowledge of construction Health & Safety.
