We are recruiting a great opportunity for a Project Engineer who will focus on the development and implementation of capital investment projects in a lean manufacturing setting.
You'll work closely with the engineering team and operations production to drive improvements and projects that will deliver efficiency's and increase plant capacity.
Monday to Friday with a negotiable salary range £40-45k
The Role
- Lead on capital investment projects to increase efficiency, performance and plant capacity
- Carry out feasibility analysis and present proposed projects to key stakeholders
- Deliver quality solutions using root cause and problem solving mindset
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure new initiatives and processed are implemented smoothly
- Review existing practices and processes, suggesting improvements to increase productivity
- Lead continuous improvement and push forward with positive change
- Work across the business to develop deep knowledge of the plant, technical details and operations
What we are looking for
- Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline or HNC/ HND with strong project management experience
- Project CAPEX experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proven record delivering successful projects, change and efficiencies
- Strong technical knowledge of automated machinery, electrical & mechanical systems
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate with various stakeholders and influence
- IT proficient with Microsoft packages
