We are currently seeking an interim Project Finance Administrator, to work with our global FMCG client, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral easily accessible by train and car. This is a full-time temporary role for 18 months requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £28,200 per annum, depending upon experience.
Main Job Purpose:
This role will be key due to the significant number of large projects the site is undertaking. The role will manage many aspects of the procurement and payment process ensuring orders are raised and supplier payments are processed efficiently.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure suppliers are fully onboarded to the payment system.
- Work with procurement and the project leader to ensure orders can be processed with all relevant information provided.
- Raise orders for all Port Sunlight projects using the Coupa PO system.
- Manage invoices queries using DCIW system and issue resolution to ensure suppliers are paid on time.
- Ensure suppliers are added to the site contractor management system working with them to provide the required details for approval.
- Run project financial reports using SAP system.
- Support the Project Manager in providing detailed capital expenditure forecasts.
- Input PO details into project spend trackers.
- Raise requests for manual payments.
- Work with suppliers on account issue resolution.
- Supporting the project leads in organising team meetings including room booking and visitor management.
Skills & Experience:
- Administrative experience in a finance or accounts payable role or similar
- Experience in coordinating suppliers and chasing payments via telephone and online
- Understanding of payment and invoicing systems/processes
- Experience of working with external suppliers/3rd parties
- High-level co-ordination and planning skills.
- Ability to use Excel and MS office well
- Ability to pick up new systems easily and competently
- Excellent communication skills for dealing with external parties overseas both via phone and email
