Westwood Recruitment are currently on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to join our client in Mansfield on a permanent basis. Our client complete high quality Windows/Installations across the Commercial & Domestic sectors with project values ranging from £100k up to £4 million.
As a Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with sales, design, procurement, and commercial departments to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest standards of quality and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with department heads and clients to understand project-specific requirements, delivery timelines, and associated costs.
- Develop detailed project plans to guide clients, staff, and project teams, adapting plans as needed based on evolving needs and requirements.
- Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery and compile and submit project status reports to clients and the commercial department.
- Work effectively with relevant stakeholders to facilitate efficient project implementation.
- Prepare detailed installation programs aligned with the main contract schedule of works.
- Develop and submit project-specific Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) with site methodology.
- Undertake on-site toolbox talks with site operatives and attend site meetings and daily briefings as necessary.
- Monitor installation quality and complete Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- Produce, complete, and issue final sign-off sheets to the main contractor.
- Arrange labour resources, plant, and access equipment for project facilitation.
- Develop leadership, customer relations, and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
- Ensure initial cost plans are sufficient for project works and issue instructions/variations to subcontractors and main contractors as necessary.
- Perform interim valuations for timely subcontractor payments and manage relationships with the client's commercial and legal representatives.
- Forecast and monitor cash flow to maintain project expenditure.
- Ensure contracts address environmental management and BREEAM requirements.
