We looking to recruit a part-time Project Manager within the School of Sport and Health Sciences, based at our Falmer campus.
You will be joining a friendly, professional team in a school which is at the forefront of teaching, research and consultancy in a range of disciplines. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of effective management of a three-year NHS funded project which is aimed at inspiring NHS professionals into undertaking research. Working with three partner universities and several local NHS trusts, you will play a key role in managing the project budget, communicating with stakeholders and participants, promoting the work of the project and organising conferences and events in collaboration with the School Operations Manager.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven administrative experience
- The ability to work on your own initiative, along with the ability to effectively work within a team
- A proven track record of leading a large project to a successful and timely completion
- Excellent communication skills and numeracy skills are also essential
- The ability to organise work and time effectively and to cope with changing priorities.
- Evidence of the ability to think and plan strategically and creatively
