Gi Pro are delighted to be partnering with a technologically advanced manufacturing company to recruit a Project Manager. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Project Manager to manage the full project life cycle.
THE ROLE:
As a Project Manager you will be required to:
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Manage project activities from concept through to handover to production
- Coordinate Design, Pre-production and Validation activities
- Organise project activities including planning, organising, monitoring and reporting status updates
- Create project timing plans and milestones
- Regularly review progress against set targets
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented to enable successful project delivery
- Manage project changes, liaising with customers and colleagues
- Identify improvement opportunities
- Work in a cross functional team
- Motivating team to ensure optimum performance levels
- Travel domestically and internationally (15%)
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal Project Manager:
- Degree educated in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent
- Proven track record of managing projects at component level within a manufacturing business
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
- Background in NPD processes and DFSS tools
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Strong commercial acumen and business awareness
- Ability to communicate and engage with people across all levels
- PRINCE 2 qualified (beneficial)
