Description:

We are seeking a passionate Software Project Manager with solid Agile knowledge to manage projects and support product delivery for our Business Services software development teams. This role requires an experienced Project Manager with excellent communication and leadership skills who loves solving problems. You will manage key projects and workstreams within our growing portfolio. As a Software Project Manager, you will be an essential member of our team, to project-manage cross-functional teams by working closely with all aspects of the product development community: Product Manager, Engineering, etc. managing a diverse range of software projects and activities. Our mission is to lead change and enable excellent global product delivery by collaborating flexibly and transparently with our partners across the organization.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

•10+ years of IT Project Delivery experience in Cloud environments.

•Project certification (APMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, etc.) required.

•Advanced knowledge and experience with using Jira and Confluence

•Previous proven project leadership experience

•Experience of working with a broad range of organisations, from start-up to global enterprise

•Experience of working within a regulated industry, ideally Financial Services or Betting & Gaming


TECHNICAL & PROJECT MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS:

•Proven background in IT Cloud industry as a software development Project Manager, IT program/Project Manager, agile software manager or scrum master

•Experienced knowledge of the software development life cycle.

•Agile knowledge required, particularly experience of SCRUM and scaled delivery (i.e. SAFe, SCRUM@Scale, LeSS etc).

•Process improvement and business transformation.

•Excellent negotiation skills.

•Understanding of corporate/financial regulations.

•Business analysis skills.

•Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.

•Experience using MS Office and Jira.

•Experience coordinating team workflow in a very fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

•Experience partnering with other project stakeholders to resolve issues and to mitigate project impacts.

•A results-oriented outlook with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives.

•Experience delivering on projects of various size and duration.

•Highly adaptable to rapidly changing priorities within the organization.

•Strong professionalism and interpersonal skills.

•Detail-oriented and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities.

•Strong organization/project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments, and strong delegation skills involving prioritizing and reprioritizing projects and managing projects of various size and complexity.

•Strong problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary with resources in multiple time zones to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues; prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions; and identifying risks/impacts and schedule adjustments to facilitate management decision-making.

•Strong communication (verbal and written) skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills applicable to a wide audience including senior and executive management etc., including diction/terminology and presenting information in a concise and effective manner

to management, and various departments using assorted communication mediums.


ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•Manage the delivery of a complexed funded business case budget, feature workstreams, in parallel with other project work allocation.

•Identify, make recommendations for improvement to existing processes, implement, and enforce best delivery practice within the agreed framework.

•Manage all phases of the project through the Product Development process.

•Enforce the capturing of productivity metrics, raise and address gaps, early escalation, and effective reporting of progress and accomplishments.

•Define key performance parameters and create regular variance reports to track progress.

•Ensure effective communication plan with roles and responsibilities, managing resources in multiple time zones.

•Negotiate with Engineering Resource Managers for project resources in multiple time zones.

•Maintain compliance with corporate and financial regulations.

•Perform data analysis relevant to project tasks.

•Request resource demand and review resource allocation for projects.

•Maintain ownership of and accountability for the project schedule.
