Do you have experience as a Project Manager? Are you based in or around around North London? If so we have an excellent opportunity to join a growing Solutions business. The main purpose of the Project Manager role is to successfully deliver a portfolio of multi-utility (Electrical) network connections to Residential/Commercial, and Industrial customers.
Experience
- Previous experience of power distribution networks.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects across different locations.
- Construction site experience.
- Experienced in managing internal and external site-based workforce.
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering e.g., C&G, ONC, HNC & Degree (equivalent Engineering qualifications may be considered).
- SMSTS, ECS/CSCS, First Aid, Manual Handling.
- Take responsibility for project safety & quality.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Plan and supervise multi-utility work inclusive of cable/pipe jointing, substation/PRI installation, excavation & reinstatement in the highway, cable/pipe installation, commissioning.
- Keep internal databases and systems up to date.
- Ensure robust and clear communication across all project stakeholders.
- Produce financial project forecasts.
- Produce and maintain project programme.
- Prepare Work Instructions, Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
- Prepare for and attend, monthly project reviews.
- Liaise with External stakeholders e.g., Local Authorities.
- Procure and control project materials.
- Liaise with Internal stakeholders and support teams.
- Liaise with Network owners to complete final connections.
- Liaise with and support both the client to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Excellent communication with the ability to build strong working relationships with customers and internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects across different locations.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- A safety critical mindset.
- Highly process driven.
- Resilient with the ability to work well under pressure and cope with conflicting demands.
