Are you ready to make your mark on a pioneering nuclear project? We invite you to become a crucial part of the Sizewell C C (SZC) project. Role Overview
We're recruiting a number of Project Managers to support this unique project, as we enter critical phases across a number of our delivery programmes.
Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Supply Chain, Responsible Designer and Quality teams, you'll be dedicated to delivering a group of nuclear power plant systems, structures, components, and contracts within one of the delivery programmes.
The scope of your role will depend on your specialism, but will cover one of several areas such as Switchboard, Diesels, Primary & Secondary Circuits, Auxiliaries, Utilities, etc.
We also have a specific requirement for a Project Manager to work on the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of the primary equipment, in particular the Reactor Pressure Vessel.
You'll work with multidisciplinary teams on post financial investment contracts, and drive the implementation of site- specific design changes.
Qualifications & Experience
You'll have a track record of delivering projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment whilst ensuring high levels of safety, security and environmental responsibility within the Nuclear Energy sector or similar regulated environment.
Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors throughout large and complex construction projects, in a regulated environment will be key.
You'll be able to demonstrate experience of managing projects through the project lifecycle from concept to handover, with a problem- solving mindset.
Additionally, you'll have good presentation, influencing and facilitation skills as well as excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks.
