Job Description – Project Manager, JLL Bristol
Role Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join JLL’s Bristol Project Management team. This unique opportunity will give you exposure to a range of varied and high profile major new build and refurbishment projects in the Bristol and South West area. The ideal candidate will have a technical background (either PM/QS/BS ideally) and have at least a year’s industry experience. MRICS or CIOB or an equivalent qualification is preferred, or perhaps you will be working towards this qualification over the next year.

You will be reporting into a director and you will have the ability to work on projects from your first day. As such, you will need to demonstrate experience in the industry as well as the ability to manage and build strong relationships with clients, professional design teams and contractors alike. You will also be encouraged to support on bids and engage with other areas of the business. What this job involves
Assist with (and eventually lead) day to day delivery of projects for funds, developers, occupiers and supporting Associates and Directors on larger projects
Select, appoint and manage design teams in the development of design solutions, planning application and statutory approvals
Prepare and manage project fee schedules, budgets and deal with project invoicing
Assisting with site inspections, snagging inspections and site meetings
Arrange for specialist quotations, for site investigations, professional team appointments and adjudicate and instruct these
Able to compile and administer complex building contracts, ensuring the compliance of contractors to the contract terms and conditions
Assist with the compilation of tender documents and critical review of tender returns, contract negotiations, client reporting
Organise, attend and minute regular project meetings and follow up actions for the team
Develop project documentation, fee schedules, programmes, risk schedules and master budget
Produce client reports to suit all stages of the projects
Manage client relationships throughout the project cycle
Business Development both internally property consultant, externally and with existing clients

Excellent verbal, numerical and report/proposal writing skills
Flexible and have the ability to work to deadlines
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Ready to capitalise on the opportunities presented by working with many specialist property consultancy colleagues at JLL to identify new opportunities
Well presented and have excellent communication skills
Willing to become part of a dynamic and supportive project management team
