Project Manager
We have an exciting opportunity located in Sherburn as a Project Manager to join a team for a market leading business in structural steel. The Project Manager will manage and/or coordinate the resources necessary to successfully complete projects to the entire satisfaction of our customers. They will deliver business objectives, efficiently, within budget and to schedule, consistent with Company Procedures, good practice and Statutory Legislation within our contractual obligations.
Responsibilities:
Management of the contract in all aspects of the following items, but not limited to:
- SHE – Safety, Health and Environment
- Quality
- Budget
- Programme management off site
- Drawing Office Control
- Bought out components
- Assist all internal departments involved in the project.
- Manage and co ordinate the activities of the project team to deliver the project to the required quality, programme and cost.
- Manage and co ordinate the clients requirements for each project.
- Liaise with senior management team to ensure the required and correct resources are provided to deliver projects.
- Approve any changes to the scope of work or programme on each project.
- Manage any impacts to projects with the project team and the client.
Experience:
- As a minimum GCSE level educated
- Can be Degree Educated or however not always and would be required to have relevant knowledge and experience.
- Generally would become a PM Through an Assistant PM role – minimum 2-3 years as an assistant PM or in a support role with project management.
- More emphasis on industry experience required - product knowledge – safety.
- Industry steelwork background
- Neds to be highly Organised, self motivated and driven.
- CSCS Card required to go on site
- Responsible for own H&S
- SMSTS and black managers cscs card required at D&B
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £60,000.00 per year
