What we expect of you, day to day.
- Management of key project objectives, deliverables, milestones, dependencies and success criteria in collaboration with the project sponsor and other stakeholders.
- Ensures risks are accounted for and that an appropriate risk management process is in place and followed appropriately by the project team.
- Provides guidance throughout the project planning and execution phases, identifying and addressing issues as encountered within a broad area of expertise.
- Contributes to the project board, ensuring all stakeholders are kept up-to-date on the progress of the project, potential risks and delays, budget concerns, etc.
- Anticipates issues and delays that may occur during the project and puts contingency plans in place as appropriate.
- Responds to issues, challenges and concerns that arise during the project, challenging and pushing back as required.
- Manages the relationship with both internal and external senior stakeholders, escalating only in the most complex situations.
- Liaises with various departments across Visa Europe as required throughout the project.
- Works with others to utilise multiple information sources in order to resolve complex problems, identifying potential solutions and recommendations
- Explains complex issues and works with others to reach a consensus in order to achieve the project objectives/success criteria
- Acts as an escalation point for project resources and other stakeholders
- Works within existing project delivery practices and processes, challenges where appropriate and contributes to improvements
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualification
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualification
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
