The business is head-quartered in Teesside, ideally placed to serve customers in Teesworks, the UK’s largest and most connected industrial zone, soon to be home to many new sustainable, low-carbon and net-zero projects. Automation solutions range from digital transformation, systems integration including robotics, process control, monitoring systems to regulatory compliance services. Based in the North East of England, you will be a proven Project Manager with a track record of service delivery in industrial automation - software, technical services and/or systems integration. You will also have a track record of project delivery in of one or more of the clients target market sectors. Working with Lead Engineers as part of a small, dynamic team, you will deliver your portfolio of projects on time and on budget and to the highest quality standards. Key Deliverables:
- Deliver your portfolio of projects to time, quality & cost objectives
- Develop and maintain appropriate project plans, inc. resource allocation and completion tracking
- Maintain regular effective client communications, reacting to issues promptly and effectively
- Co-ordinate internal project support to ensure that key milestones are completed to plan
- Monitor and manage all project-related risks, implementing appropriation mitigation strategies
- Leading from the front, quickly build confidence and maintain trust with both clients and colleagues
Candidate Profile:
- High-calibre Project Manager with a relevant track record of project delivery in industrial automation
- Clearly demonstrable track record of project delivery for clients in relevant sectors (Life Sciences. Pharma, Energy (inc. O&G, Nuclear), Infrastructure, Chemicals, Process Industries (eg Food & Bev.)
- High value (<£1m) project management experience required, inc. risk management etc
- Project management experience should also include dealing with third-party suppliers as well as procurement, supply chain, engineering etc
- Relevant Engineering and Project Management qualifications required
- IT/technically credible, comfortable in software-led solutions project environments
- Credible with clients, with effective communications and interpersonal skills
