Job Details
Property Services provide construction design, technical and professional services to our internal client services relating to the Council’s built estate, including planned maintenance, improvement works and new build projects.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake the challenging but highly rewarding role of Project Manager to lead and co-ordinate on large scale projects. You will work with both internal and external design teams / consultants / contractors, in consultation with relevant stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, to the required quality and sustainability requirements.

The Person
- Educated to SCQF level 9, which includes a degree level or equivalent qualification in an appropriate construction or professional discipline.
- Experience of working with other professional disciplines.
- Project Management experience and working to tight deadlines.
- Have a good working knowledge of design and construction industry issues, legislation, and practice.
- Knowledge of carbon and energy reduction targets and methodologies applied to achieve positive outcomes.
- Self-motivating, able to work on own initiative and liaise effectively with key staff operating in a multi-disciplinary environment, including private sector developers and consultants.
- Effective communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to provide a regular and effective service.
- Ability to travel to sites around Fife.
We are currently shaping our future workstyles however, in light of current advice, we are introducing blended home/office working that will include office access days each week with homeworking for the remainder of your working time.
