Job Description:
We're on the lookout for a Facilities Project Manager to orchestrate an upcoming factory expansion initiative within our Injection Moulding department alongside other pivotal projects across our site. This role demands adept collaboration with internal stakeholders, external partners, and engineers to ensure seamless project delivery within designated timelines and budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all facets of facility renovation, maintenance projects, and expansion endeavours from conception to fruition.
- Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, external consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to fulfil project requisites.
- Rigorously manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditure reports, ensuring adherence to financial parameters.
- Craft and uphold project schedules, monitoring progress, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing corrective measures proactively.
- Source materials, equipment, and services efficiently, emphasizing cost-effective procurement and timely delivery.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring strict adherence to contractual obligations.
- Conduct meticulous inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Maintain transparent communication channels, providing regular updates, milestones, and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, conflicts, and issues, escalating complex matters to senior management when necessary.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as a Facilities Project Manager or in a similar capacity, overseeing complex construction projects from inception to completion.
- Proficient in project management methodologies within a manufacturing environment, with a knack for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound technical acumen in manufacturing services like chilled water, electricity, compressed air, building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite; certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) are advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in an autonomous work environment, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- 3-5 Years experience in AutoCAD
