Hybrid Working, Offices based across Essex.

£500 - £600 per day.

We are currently on the lookout for a diligent and motivated Project Manager - Finance Systems to join our team on an interim basis in Essex.

The Role:

• This project is to deliver a shared Finance system across two local authorities to meet the desired business outcomes of the programme and project, by working with and bringing together stakeholders across these 2 organisations.
• Look to future proof the service, using modern role profiles and functions, identify specialist posts that can be shared, mitigate peaks and troughs and workload challenges. Benchmark across the highest performing Councils, as well as within the partnership to show how we can build upon strengths to build a high performing team. Use Customer insight to identify how the design can significantly improve the Customer journey, outcomes, satisfaction.
• This is a hybrid role, and you will be required to attend and run meetings on site, as well as attend the offices and/or meet colleagues regularly to build relationships with colleagues in this period of change. On-site requirements are expected to be infrequent and may fluctuate to accommodate the availability of others. We will be happy to discuss this further at interview.

The Candidate:

• Previous demonstrable experience of working on similar financial system implementations as a Project Manager in comparable roles and organisations (mandatory)
• Recognised Project Management qualification (desirable)
• Delivering change in an organisation (desirable)
• Project Management Expertise: A subject matter expert, with strong project management skills, familiarity with hybrid project methodologies, and the ability to plan and execute projects efficiently.
• Communication and Leadership:Excellent communication skills, coupled with a track record of leading and managing teams effectively, including a hands-on approach where the individual serves as a team leader actively involved in front-line leadership.
