Project Manager Marine Distribution Europe

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Marine Project Manager to manage, develop, and implement Marine Distribution projects of varying complexity and size throughout Europe. The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders to ensure successful project completion and manage all aspects of project delivery.

In this role, here are some of the ways you will make an impact:

  • Manage and implement Marine Distribution projects across Europe, ensuring efficient and successful completion as well as identify, track, and resolve project issues.

  • Lead multiple projects from inception to completion, facilitating project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine scope and objectives; monitor and communicate project status to the project team.

  • Plan and monitor project budgets, conduct research and analysis, and provide input into the design and development of project plans and timelines.

  • Document and share team learnings with other teams, drawing on experiences to enhance project success, maintain project notes, databases, and other records, and communicate status with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders.

  • Identify and assign resources to accomplish various project tasks, guiding and coaching team members through project stages, and providing developmental feedback.

  • Work with business stakeholders to establish performance goals, design project plans, develop timelines, identify milestones, and track performance.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of Marine Distribution and logistics with proven track record of successful project delivery in Europe.

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent with familiarity with EU regulations related to Marine Distribution and logistics.

  • Schedule Management, Scope Management, Project Resource Management and Project Issue and Risk Management.

  • Business Insight, Customer Focus and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.

  • Financial Acumen: Interpret and apply an understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.

  • Manage Complexity, conflicts and communicate effectively.

  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

This role can be anywhere within the UK or Europe.
