Project Manager | West Midlands

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of customer interactions, successfully managing a portfolio of projects aligned with business goals.
Your role involves monitoring project performance, identifying corrective actions, and ensuring the timely delivery of projects within budget.
You will prioritize resource allocation, provide accurate cost and schedule information for bids, and exhibit effective leadership by fostering a collaborative team environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Acting as the primary customer contact.


• Managing a portfolio of related projects to meet customer requirements.


• Monitoring project performance and implementing corrective actions.


• Prioritizing and obtaining necessary resources for successful project execution.


• Supplying accurate cost and schedule information for bids and reports.


• Providing effective leadership, managing customer interfaces, and communicating with Senior Management.


• Motivating the team through shared vision, goal-setting, and mentorship.


• Performing other duties as required by the Programmes Director or Programme Manager.

Personal Attributes:

We are looking for an individual with the following qualities:

• Proven experience in full project lifecycle management.


• Degree in Business/Engineering, APM qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
  


• Exceptional leadership, delegation, and teamwork skills.


• Excellent communication and influencing skills at all business levels.


• High commercial and business awareness with a customer-focused approach.


• Resilient with the ability to operate effectively under pressure.


• Proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems (e.g., IFS).


• Experience in managing multi-disciplined projects.
