We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile banking clients. They are currently looking for a Project Manager to join them for an initial 6-month contract. However, there may be scope for extension.
About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join an exciting and fast paced lab. This is an outstanding opportunity to help support the next phase of our transformation, as we continue to grow the proposition, support our existing clients and rollout to new clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Takes ownership for delivering a prescribed budget for own area of the organization.
- Produces a project or workstream plan defining the delivery achievements, tasks, and activities.
- Monitors progress against project/workstream plan, identifies slippage, and supports activity to recover.
- Follows the appropriate elements of the [Banking Institution] project delivery lifecycle.
- Delivers outcomes by leading others and working within established systems.
- Reports progress and status to the appropriate partners on a timely basis.
- Identifies and escalates key risks and issues as necessary.
- Grows own capabilities by pursuing personal development opportunities.
- Develops the capabilities of direct reports within the existing development framework.
- Implements appropriate project support processes to manage issues, identify and minimize risks, monitor dependencies, and record assumptions.
- Builds and maintains effective working and influencing relationships with appropriate colleagues.
- Sets short-term objectives and helps handle the performance of direct reports within performance management systems.
Requirements of the Role:
- Experience in areas such as global payments, expanding payments, contract onboarding, IT change, and cash management is preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering projects within prescribed budgets and timelines.
- Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycles.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage risks and dependencies.
Location:
This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients Bristol office at least 2 days a week.
Working hours:
Standard working hours with some flex where required.
