?? Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding of Regulation W? Our client, a reputable organisation in the financial sector, is seeking a talented individual to join their team for a 12-month contract.
?? In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and mitigating the risk of violating Laws, Rules, and Regulations. Your primary focus will be on implementing new automated controls and performing risk assessments for trade activity. You will collaborate with various teams, including Bank Regulation Legal, ICRM, Credit Risk, and Technology, to define requirements and design robust booking controls.
?? As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate a control mindset and a deep knowledge of implementation and ongoing monitoring. You will take ownership of identifying risks and finding innovative solutions to mitigate them. Strong communication skills will be crucial as you provide regular status updates and engage with stakeholders throughout the risk assessment and mitigation process.
�? Our client offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility and work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to work in their conveniently located office, just a 4-minute walk from Canary Wharf (DLR) train station. (3 days onsite)
�? Key Requirements:
Proven experience in performing gap analysis, designing and implementing controls, and ensuring ongoing monitoring and governance.
Excellent project management skills, collaborating closely with Project Managers and technology business analysts.
Understanding of global markets trading products and front office trading processes.
Familiarity Banking Regulation W.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills to drive collaboration and motivation.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical colleagues.
A proactive mindset, challenging current processes to drive improved outcomes.
